Our Mission
The Campus Recovery Committee supports Kalamazoo College and the local higher education community through engagement, education, and support for those at any point in recovery from substance use, misuse, or abuse.
Our Goals
- Develop initiatives, resources and programs to assist those at any point in their substance use recovery
- Foster a culture of understanding and destigmatize substance use dependence and addiction on our campus
- Review and recommend updates to campus policies and procedures regarding substance use, ensuring they are supportive, compassionate, and aligned with best practices for recovery and inclusion.

In order to keep a safe, welcoming, and collaborative environment, the Campus Recovery Committee follows these ground rules:

The Campus Recovery Committee is comprised of faculty, staff, and students.
Committee Meetings
1st meeting is on: April 25th, 2025
- Frequency: Once per month
- Dates: 4th Friday of each month
- Time: 2 – 3 p.m.
- Location: Details on meeting location will be provided via email.
